Setting The Intention for Your Candle Ceremony

This form of healing is ideal for those who enjoy working with ceremonial candles that are created for a specific purpose.  It is particularly great for sustaining an intention and allowing the meditative exercises to unfold over an extended period of time. 

Setting the intention with your candle is very important; even if you buy a candle that was created for that intention, you will need to sit with the candle and transfer the energy of your specific intention into the candle.  Every conscious being in the Universe vibrates at its own frequency; there is no other person who has the same frequency as you do.  So, your intention must be directed to the candle in a way that represents you; it will be absorbed into your candle immediately.

The intention may be for yourself or, with their permission, someone else.  The intention needs to be specific and positively focused.  Even if you are purchasing  a candle to 'banish' negativity from your life, your focused intention would not be on the fear, powerlessness and negativity that you have been experiencing. 

Rather than giving any attention to fear or revenge, you would pivot the intention so that it is more about the reclaiming of your personal sovereignty and true power.  You would spend your time reclaiming the soul fragments and soul essences of your life that keep you in a state of perfect grounding, stability, bravery and strength at all times.

You are doing this because you are healing your mind, body and spirit from any opportunities that lower, denser, darker vibrations have been allowed into your energy field and you do not want to attract more of that by speaking to what you believe is already there.  That is why you are going to always want to 'call in' the power of what the manifestation of your intention looks and feels like and then resonate with that...constantly!

In addition to setting your intention you will need to create segments of time in which you will actively meditate with your candle, it is also recommended that you have regular intervals of time in which you actively communicate with the natural elements themselves.

During these moments, the person will be honoring his or her relationship with the elements with feelings of pure love, gratitude and appreciation and reactivating his/her imagination, intuition, inspiration towards the desired goal.

Engaging with the candle and it's visible elements of fire, air, earth and water works will constantly remind you that life is a harmonious blend of energies in which the mind, body and spirit are all present in the electromagnetic field that envelopes the body.

The electromagnetic field is your connection with the holographic Universe and the Source of 'all that is' and therefore the unlimited power and force of the one creative energy which is unconditional love.  That is the power of electromagnetism.

Through these regular intervals of reflection, introspection and observation, the person’s energy field is constantly bonding with the candle and projecting that inspired force directly towards the candle and the fulfillment of the intention.
